2025 LibraryIQ Impact Grant
At LibraryIQ, we believe in the power of data to drive smart decisions that enhance library services. To inspire action, foster innovation, and empower libraries to make lasting community impact, we are proud to introduce the LibraryIQ Impact Grant—a $500 grant opportunity designed to support libraries in leveraging data for meaningful change.
Who Can Apply?
This grant is open exclusively to LibraryIQ customers who are actively utilizing the IQ Platform to make data-driven decisions. Funds will be distributed to a qualifying Non-Profit 501(c)(3) organization such as the Friends of the Library, Library Foundation, or another library funding entity.
How It Works
- Apply: Libraries complete the application process starting in March 2025
- Get Selected: Grant recipients will be announced beginning May 2025
- Put Funds to Use: Grant must be used within three months of receipt
- Track & Report Progress: Recipients will submit an estimated project timeline and report on their project’s progress and impact
- Share Your Success: Libraries will provide LibraryIQ with a summary report, including outcomes and supporting documentation (photos, video testimonials, quotes), to highlight their success
Eligible Projects
Grant funds can support a variety of initiatives that utilize data to enhance library services, including but not limited to:
Expanding diverse titles in collections
Purchasing materials in high-turnover collections
Weeding and replacing well-loved titles
Reallocating and optimizing shelving space based on patron usage
Marketing to the community using Community Map and/or Demographics data
Bringing in a special speaker for a library program
Requirements
Funds must be used to advance data-driven library initiatives within three months of receipt
Grantees will work directly with LibraryIQ staff to develop the project and track progress
A final report on the project’s impact must be submitted within six months of receiving funds
